Colby Phillips Advisory (formerly Colby Industries) is excited to celebrate with Goolwa Pipi Co on their success in securing a $489,335 grant from the South Australian Government Regional Growth Fund (www.pir.sa.gov.au/regions/grants). The grant was announced on 22 February 2019 at their Port Elliot seafood processing facility by the Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development,  The Hon. Tim Whetstone.   

Dr Chris Colby of Colby Phillips worked with Goolwa Pipi Co. to prepare their “Cluster” and Project Proposal and write and submit the grant application, including employment and economic modelling.  The grant will enable the business to work with the local Ngarrindjeri people and regional businesses to expand the capacity of their Port Elliot facility and develop new value-added and co-branded native Kuti (pipi) products, to create more employment and economic opportunities for this community and on the Fleurieu Peninsula.  Colby Phillips has since been engaged by Goolwa Pipi Co. to assist with project management and implementation.
