Colby Phillips Advisory would like to congratulate Planet Protector for their success in the Australian Packaging Innovation and Design Awards. Planet Protector’s new Wine Protector won Gold in the Sustainability Renewable Materials category.

The Sustainable Packaging Design of the Year Award recognises companies successful in developing innovative solutions that incorporate sustainability considerations. The field this year was particularly strong with Priestley’s Gourmet Delights Fibre tray insert by Opal receiving a high commendation. Bronze went to Sustainable Fresh Produce Packaging by Detpak and Woolworths Supermarkets and Silver went to Tempguard Gusset for HelloFresh by Sealed Air.

The Wine Protector was also awarded Bronze in the Beverage Packaging Design of the year category. Cutler Brands received Silver for their Penly Sustainability Range and Accolade were awarded Gold for their eco bottle.

This is a fantastic achievement for Planet Protector and backs up a range of recent accolades including Gold in the 2022 Banksia Foundation Sustainability Awards.

We would also like to congratulate Lars Ljung, Planet Protectors Sustainability Manager, ‘who was named the Australian Young Packaging Professional’.

We would like to thank Planet Protector for the opportunity of working with them and look forward to launching the next wave of products in the market.
