Over the last 12 months, Colby Phillips Advisory has supported four South Australian food manufacturers to become more resource efficient and resolve Trade Waste sewer discharge issues as part of Green Industries SA’s Resource Productivity Assessment (RPA) program.  A key element of these projects was working closely with SA Water, owner and operator of the sewer networks receiving Trade Waste discharges from each site.  This work enabled these manufacturers to win $650,000 in State Government Food & Beverage Implementation grant funding, to upgrade plant equipment and/or their Trade Waste pre-treatment systems.  These projects will help them to lower manufacturing costs and/or improve the quality and decrease future costs of their Trade waste discharge.  As part of our on-going advisory role, Joel Phillips and Dr Chris Colby, Colby Phillips Advisory's Directors, along with other staff will continue to support these businesses as they implement these projects.
